Atomic-IRC would like to wish all it’s users a big..

Personally I think we should have some kind of pumpkin making contest, I’ve already made mine, see it here, i’d say its pretty l33t but go ahead and show me better [that’s a challenge].
I’d also like to welcome virgin to the oper team after she was voted in by a few of her friends, watch out though she’s anything but a n00b when it comes to “compromising” PCs ;).

With hundreds of users talking all day and night about any random subject theres tons of unique, funny quotes and conversations we like to save to the Quotes database.
Here’s a sample:
[switchback] anyone know a good ftp program i can use on my system
[Tweak] lol
[Tweak]'ftp'
[Tweak] stupid windows
[Kilam] switchback
[Kilam] try Invision FTP -> alt + F4
[Kilam] !!
* switchback (none@switchback.is.da.man) Quit (Quit: —I-n-v-i-s-i-o-n— 2.0 Build 2520)
If you have any funny stuff in your logs from any channel on the network we’d love to see it, you can submit your own funny quotes.
Thanks to hyper for setting the database up for us.

Some changes have been made to Atomic-IRC’s services, newly registered nicks now have “nick protection” disabled by default. This means that when a user connects with a nick that is already registered but does not identify for it their nick will not be automatically changed to Atomic-IRC5511425 (or something similar).
Network users felt that this feature was more of an annoyance than anything so that’s why it was removed. Please note that nick protection is now only disabled by default to newly registered nicknames, if you would like your previously registered nick to be exempt from the feature type this once identified:
/msg NickServ set kill OFF
Many thanks for your patients
